Joppa Flats Summer Camp | Sample Schedule

Joppa campers sitting in circle with staff

No two days are alike at Joppa Flats Summer Camp, but this sample schedule gives an overview of daily activities and flow. Drop-off and pick-up take place at Joppa Flats Education Center, unless otherwise noted on field trip days.

Trekkers (ages 9–11) and Explorers (ages 6–8) have fun with science experiments, nature inquiry, and multiple local field trips each session. Both groups gather together for free time, such as lunch and morning snack. Most field trips take place within a half-hour drive of Joppa Flats, and transportation is provided via seven-passenger vans. All driving staff are at least 20 years of age and have completed a driver’s background check.
