Veteran birder, natural history guide, and Manchester-by-the-Sea resident David Weaver will present an illustrated lecture about the wildlife and wild places of Botswana. No preregistration is required.

He'll recount experiences from his recent trip accompanied by photos of the wildlife native to this south-central African country, including birds, mammals, and reptiles.

About the Speaker

David Weaver is a retired wildlife biologist, most recently with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. A longtime volunteer for Joppa Flats and a graduate of the Birder's Certificate Program, he has led and co-led many birding programs and trips locally and nationally.

Dave especially enjoys introducing neophytes to his favorite pastime and getting them excited about birding.
