Electric Vehicle Charging Station Now Available to Public

Charging a car at Habitat's EVSE

Habitat is excited to announce that we have a new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station now open for public use at the sanctuary!

The charging station offers two Level 2 J1772 connector plugs that are compatible with all makes and models of EV, although Tesla owners may need to use an adapter to connect their vehicle.

The charging station is to your left when driving into the sanctuary's parking lot. Each plug provides about 25 miles for every hour of charging time. There is no fee to use the station—charging is free.

Habitat is thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to utilize green technology that reduces everyone's carbon footprint

We hope you'll visit the sanctuary soon to take in the beauty of nature and recharge your spirit—and maybe your car, too.
