February Vacation Adventures

Kids playing in snow at Habitat

No school? No problem. Get your kids outside exploring and learning about nature during February School Vacation!

Habitat offers four days of programs for ages 5-12 filled with indoor and outdoor winter activities, games, crafts, and scientific experiments. Sign up for individual days or join us for all four! Pre-registration is required for each program.

New this year! Teens ages 13-17 can spend their vacation on a four-day/five-night adventure trip.

For Grades 4–6

February 18–21, 2020

Imagine you are stranded on an icecap in the Arctic. How would you survive? Through hands-on activities and hikes, learn about winter survival, including how to dress for the weather, how to deal with emergencies, and how to find your way.

For Teens (ages 13–17) NEW!

February 17–21, 2020

Calling all teens! Spend your vacation week discovering New Hampshire's winter wonderland. We'll start out by building our winter travel and camping skills at Mass Audubon's Wildwood overnight camp in preparation for a hike up the icy trails of Mt. Monadnock. Then, we'll set our sights further north and explore the White Mountains! A night spent at Zealand Falls Hut, located in the heart of the White Mountains, will highlight our trip.
