Help Remove Invasive Plants - Particularly Pepperweed! Multiple dates May through July

Location: Wenham, MA
Sanctuary: Endicott

About This Position

Help Mass Audubon protect the biodiversity of the Great Marsh by volunteering to help with pepperweed removal at sites from Salisbury to Gloucester.  We are seeking volunteers who can donate a few hours several times per month from May to July to help control this invasive plant by manually pulling out plants and disposing of them properly. You may "adopt-a-site" to work on individually (or with your family – kids 6 and older welcome), or participate in one of our upcoming “group pulls.” Please let us know if you are connected to a group who would like to get involved. Training will be provided at dates and locations to be announced.

Please wear waterproof boots or those old sneakers in the back of your closet. We'll provide the dampness and maybe some mud!
