Pond Ecology

Use aquatic sampling equipment to collect, identify, and compare physical, chemical, and biological aspects of pond and vernal pool ecosystems. Study the unique adaptations of organisms that require these habitats to complete their life cycle. Develop observational and critical thinking skills by learning to use identification keys and field guides while collecting and analyzing data.
