Do you have a young nature lover who’s eager to connect with the outdoors this fall? Foster discovery and appreciation for the natural world in your child with one of these outdoor programs at Habitat or Drumlin Farm, with options for preschoolers, homeschoolers, and after-schoolers.
Get your preschool outside this fall! Preschool Naturalists is an outdoor, drop-off enrichment program where children ages 3–4 have the freedom to play and interact with their environment, learning to appreciate the scope and diversity of the natural world as they explore the forests and fields surrounding Habitat Education Center.
Preschool Naturalists is open for registration at Habitat, with weekly sessions on Tuesday and Friday mornings beginning September 20.
Homeschool Naturalists: Builders and Architects
Homeschool Naturalists is a drop-off enrichment program for children ages 6–12 that takes place entirely outdoors. Explore the amazing world of nature’s builders, architects, and engineers as you discover how animals change the habitats around them to meet their needs
Homeschool Naturalists is open for registration at Habitat and Drumlin Farm, with weekly sessions on Tuesdays (ages 8–10) and Thursdays (ages 11–14) beginning September 13.
Get outdoors and let off some steam after school! Afternoons Outside is an afterschool program where children ages 6–12 get outside to hike, connect with nature, and make friends. Groups engage in seasonal nature exploration, artistic expression, games, and reflection.
Afternoons Outside: Coyote Club is open for registration at Habitat, with sessions each Wednesday afternoon beginning September 14.
