Owl Prowl for Families

Friday, February 8 • 7:00–8:30 pm

Ever wondered if an owl really is as smart as they say? Why don't we hear them when they fly? Just how far can an owl see? Come with the whole family to learn about owl calls, behavior and habitat as we search and listen for our resident screech, barred and great horned owls. For families with children ages 6 & up. Preregistration required.

Up Close & Personal with the Owls of Broadmoor

Saturday, February 9 • 10 am (ages 3-6), 1 pm or 3 pm (ages 7 & up)

Come explore the wonders of owls with friends and family! Join us for a one-hour, up close and personal view of some of our local owl species, including the great horned and screech owl. This program fills up fast, so sign up early. Preregistration required.

Sound is one of the best ways to locate and identify owls. Learn about their calls, behavior and habitat. Join the adventure as we explore Broadmoor under moonlit skies listening for our resident great horned, screech, and barred owls. Preregistration required.
