Using hand lenses, sweep nets, and magnifier boxes, students will explore local habitats to find insects and other invertebrates that live there. They will learn to identify the many segments of insects' bodies and the function of each part. Students will learn what all insects need to survive and discover through hands-on investigation how they meet those needs. This program is NOT offered in November, December, January, February, or March.
