This year's Bird Hop was a smashing success! Over 200 friends and supporters joined us on November 3 for a lively evening of great food, craft brews, trivia contest, raffle giveaways, music, and live bird demonstrations.

All told, this year's event raised over $10,000 for BNC’s environmental education programs and summer camp scholarship fund.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Blue Hills Trailside Museum for the live bird demonstrations, trivia master Ken Lytle, and the Daniel Ian Smith Quintet for providing great music.

A special thank you goes out to our In-Kind Donors for providing the prizes for the raffle—John Brooke, Cathy Campbell, Jack Orrock, Gretchen Friend, Anna Koon, Patagonia, REI, Tree House Brewing Company, and US Rafting.

Finally, we'd like to thank all the breweries that participated in this year's tasting, including Aeronaut Brewing Company, Bantam, Berkshire Brewing, Clown Shoes, Down the Road Beer, Ipswich Ale Brewery, NBPT Brew Company, Rising Tide, and Samuel Adams.

We hope to see you next year at Bird Hop 2018!
