Arcadia Nature Day Camp | Staff
Camp Director – Patti Steinman
Camp Director Patti Steinman has been part of the Mass Audubon family for more than 25 years, both as a teacher and an administrator. She has an M.S. degree in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England.
During the camp day, Patti often can be found playing games with the campers, telling stories, or hiking with the Great Blue Herons—identifiable by her ever-present bear hat.
Assistant Camp Director – Kim Hoff
Kim Hoff is starting with Mass Audubon in 2018 as a Teacher Naturalist and Assistant Camp Director. Before coming to Arcadia, she worked for several years with our state parks. Like Patti, Kim has an M.S. degree in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England.
At camp, Kim can be found conversing with campers, singing songs about nature, and emailing campers’ families to keep them informed and up-to-date about Arcadia Nature Day Camp.
Our Camp Staff
Counselors are chosen for their enthusiasm, experience, nature knowledge, sense of both fun and safety, and ability to work with children in an outdoor setting. They are college graduates/professionals or undergraduate students in an environmental or educational field. All staff undergo background checks and are certified in CPR and First Aid.
What Others are Saying . . .

"Every year the camp gets better and better because the staff never stops striving or caring. They are motivated to share their love of nature with the next generation." -Camp Parent
