Explore the Art House at Arcadia

Arcadia's Art House

Within Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary, there is a small wooden cabin nestled among the trees on Tulip Tree Trail.

Surrounded by nature, birds, water, distant mountains, and air that is clean and fresh, Arcadia's Art House is perfectly situated to serve visitors who wish to connect to the nature around them through art.

The Art House is open Spring through Fall, check out Arcadia's Facebook page for the latest Art House announcements and schedule.

What You'll Find

Visitors and members of the Arcadia community can step inside the Art House to find readily available art supplies, giving them a place to respond to nature through art.

Instructions and ideas are available for drawing, painting, sculpture, journaling, printmaking, and collage projects. And each project provides opportunities to learn about the language of art.

You can also borrow a portable art pack to take along the trails with you. As you take a walk along the “Art Trail,” you'll meet the ingredients for art that can be found in nature in all seasons!

Volunteer at the Art House

The Art House at Arcadia would not be possible without the help of the generous people who volunteer their time. Volunteers help greet visitors, direct them to available art projects, and answer questions.

If you're interested in art, nature, both, or just want to spend some time outdoors, we'd love to have you as part of the Art House volunteer team!
