"Into the Woods" – Monotypes by Doris Madsen
The Gallery at Arcadia will exhibit monotypes created by Doris Madsen during the month of August.
A monotype is a unique, one-of-a-kind print composed of many layers of ink on paper.
Madsen will be the Artist-in-Residence at the Arcadia Art House for September. During her residency, she plans to explore experimental, spontaneous ways of printmaking.
Doris Madsen lives in Easthampton, MA, and has exhibited her work widely. She is a member of Zea Mays Printmaking art gallery in Florence, MA.

The gallery is located in the Arcadia Visitor Center.
