Arcadia 2018 Annual Report cover

Last year was another great year for our work in the Connecticut River Valley. We're proud of everything we accomplished in 2018, but none of it would have been possible without our dedicated and enthusiastic community of donors and volunteers.

Thank you so much for your generous support!

To learn about all the work we did last year, we encourage you to download the full report.

Here are just a few highlights:

→ Arcadia continued to serve as a model for Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries of how to bridge environmental education, advocacy, and conservation solutions through our Climate Action Center initiatives.

→ At the first annual Arcadia Folk Festival in September, Arcadia kicked off a year-long celebration of 75 years of inspiring nature heroes—and the community that has made it all possible. (The next Folk Fest will be held on Saturday, September 28.)

→ In partnership with the City of Northampton, we protected 50 acres of land adjacent to Arcadia along RT-10, which includes high-quality forest and wetlands and is an important wildlife corridor for animals such as Bobcats and Red Foxes.

→ We expanded our outreach to campers coming from Holyoke and Springfield and doubled the number of camp scholarships offered.

Celebrating 75 years of inspiring nature heroes with community support.
