Meet our Education Staff

Kate(she/her) I am the new Regional Education Manager for the South East Region and will be based out of North River. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining the amazing Mass Audubon team. One of my first introductions to environmental education was as a Park Interpreter for Department of Conservation & Recreation at Horseneck Beach (Westport, MA,) and I’ve been passionate about environmental education ever since. For the past 14 years, I’ve been leading professional development, curriculum development, and community building efforts for Beyond Benign, focusing on green chemistry education. I’m excited to support the educators in the region to help meet the statewide Action Agenda goals.

Chris(he/him) I recently received my degree in Earth Science from Framingham State University, and I'm now a new field educator based out of Oak Knoll. I love to cook; thus, sustainable agriculture is at the heart of my ambition for environmental stewardship and communication. Prior to this, I had the honor of working with a fantastic team at the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary's Organic CSA Farm in Sharon, Massachusetts. I'm happy to be a member of Mass Audubon and look forward to continuing to have a positive influence on the Southeast Region's communities.

Meet our Office Staff

|
Nicole(she/her) I am joining Mass Audubon as the Operations Manager for the Southeast Region! I have worked in wildlife and habitat conservation for all my career. My most recent position was the office manager and volunteer coordinator at a local Land Trust; this added to my experience in endangered and threatened bird conservation, operations management, and human resources. I am an avid birder and hiker, and I am just starting to teach my 5-month-old daughter the joys of birding and the outdoors. I am thrilled to be joining such an amazing team and to help the Southeast move forward in our mission!

Meet our Visitor Services Staff
|
|
Ezra(they/them) I am joining Mass Audubon at Oak Knoll as a Visitor Services Representative. I've recently relocated to Providence, RI, from central Texas, where I grew up in the rural hill country. I have experience in tech, culture and arts programming, and community archiving, though I have become increasingly interested in working in the world of environmental conservation. I'm very excited to be here at Oak Knoll and look forward to learning from all of you about your work and about the local geography!

Catie(she/her) I worked for seven years at a corporate health insurance company, working on the data side of things. I found that I was not finding any fulfillment with that kind of work and needed to switch it up. I realized I wanted to work somewhere that made a difference in the world. I have always been passionate about the outdoors and the environment, and I am excited to have found a position at MA Audubon where I am surrounded by like-minded people. I am looking forward to working together with this incredible community that protects the environment and inspires others to do the same!
