Mass Audubon’s South East Region Participates in AHA! Night

This year to celebrate Earth Day, Mass Audubon's South East region marched in the Earth Eve procession through downtown New Bedford with students from the New Bedford Parks & Recreation after school program.

Wearing capes and shields created from recycled materials and designed by the students, they represented the superpower of science. This annual event takes place as part of the monthly AHA! events.

AHA!, which stands for Art, History, Architecture provides a free platform for New Bedford’s creative community to showcase their talents collectively; making arts, culture, and creative expression accessible to all.

AHA! Night is a New Bedford event that has offered a meeting outlet for the community that encourages artistic expression and is welcoming to all.
