Wildwood offers a variety of programs year-round for people of all ages. Attend one of our public programs to experience the sanctuary outside of the summer season. We also offer specialized programs for schools and groups.
Wildwood’s home, the Monadnock Conservation Center, is a 153-acre wildlife sanctuary in Rindge, New Hampshire. We offer a fun and educational nature-based programs during the school year. Students ages 5-13 can explore woodlands, meadows, vernal pools, and Hubbard Pond as they get to know the local plants, animals, and insects. Our teacher naturalists provide enriching, hands-on activities for your students.
Each program is aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Education frameworks, with strands in Life Science, Earth Science, History, and/or Geography. Math learning standards are included in many programs. Whether the program takes place at your site or ours, we will work with you to develop a curriculum that meets your needs and the frameworks.
