Explore Nature at Home — Animal Ambassadors

Several Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries work with licensed wildlife rehabilitators to care for injured wildlife. In many cases, the animals are able to fully recover and be returned to the wild. But when re-release isn't possible or safe, some animals are able to remain at the sanctuary as educational "Animal Ambassadors."

In this video series, members of our trained wildlife care staff will introduce you to a few of these special creatures! Please note that none of the animals living at our sanctuaries could survive without human help.

Do NOT bring orphaned or injured wildlife to any Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuary. Read more >
