 Bird Checklists

Finding or creating a good checklist of birds for your trip can be challenging. For every Mass Audubon trip, our leaders, staff, and talented volunteers will create a customized list appropriate for the itinerary. To standardize our checklists, we start with Avibase.

  • Avibase—Bird Checklists of the World includes hundreds of lists from destinations worldwide, compiled from various resources and organized for different taxonomic authorities. Mass Audubon uses Clements (2017) taxonomy.
