Help Us Reach Our Goal!
Because Nature Needs Our Focus
May 12-13, 2017
Each year, people across the state participate in Mass Audubon’s largest fundraiser, Bird-a-thon. The centerpiece of Bird-a-thon is a competition where teams representing wildlife sanctuaries and programs attempt to identify the most species of birds in a 24-hour period. Bird-a-thon serves as a reminder of the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our role in protecting their habitats.
Since the event began in 1983, thousands of dedicated supporters and team members have raised over $2 million for Mass Audubon, its sanctuaries, and its programs across the state.
Bird-a-thon 2017 ran from 6:00 pm on May 12 through 6:00 pm on May 13.
There is still time to support Bird-a-thon 2017.
Raise money for your favorite sanctuary or program online, by joining a team on the fundraising website, and/or offline, by collecting cash and checks. Fundraisers can bird for fun, do their own nature-focused activity, or simply support the team from home.
