Volunteer Service Days

Work outside on a variety of projects. Tools and instruction provided.

Appropriate for all ages (children in Grade 9 & below must be accompanied by an adult).

National Day of Service

Sunday, September 9, 9-11 am

Help with trail maintenance, weeding, and getting the goats ready for the next season.

Wildlife Habitats

Saturday, October 13, 9-11 am

Survey and monitor birds, bugs, and more, along with restoring wildlife habitat.

HIP Trails Day

Sunday, November 4, 12-3 pm

All ages help out by putting woodchips on trails, working in the gardens, raking, sweeping and more.

Autumn Clean-Up

Saturday December 1, 10 am-12 pm

For hearty folks who like to rake, cut firewood, haul brush, or are skilled with hand tools.

New Year Trail Tending

Sunday, January 6, 1-3 pm

Welcome in the new year by pruning, trail tending, clearing brush or shoveling snow.

Winter Work Out

Saturday February 9, 10 am-12 pm

Bundle up and come pack down trails, look for wildlife tracks, or winter pruning.
