Habitat Restoration
Mass Audubon’s Broadmoor sanctuary has 624-acres and nine miles of trails with diverse field, forest, and wetland habitats that support over 150 plant and animal species and forms part of an ecological corridor along the Charles River. We work hard to create and maintain quality habitats within the sanctuary but need your help. Join us if you are interested in: improving habitat quality for native species; learning about plant ID and restoration techniques; spending time outside with like-minded people. Volunteer sessions will be scheduled throughout the winter and spring. Join us for the dates you can attend. Contact Pam for dates and more information.
Qualifications
Adults and teens, age 15 and older. The tasks are physical and require walking on uneven surfaces.
