Education Program Assistant
Conduct environmental education programs at the Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. Lead groups of visitors in hands-on discovery of the various habitats at Felix Neck. During the summer season education program volunteers lead Seashore Discovery programs for groups of visitors ranging in size from five to fifty-five people. Training is provided.
Qualifications
Enthusiasm and interest in natural history and environmental education. Creative and flexible. High school diploma and some teaching experience. Basic natural history science background and local natural history needed. Responsible and prompt. Minimum of 18 years of age. Able to commit to volunteering at least one day a week during the summer season.
