About Mass Audubon

Mass Audubon is the largest nature-based conservation organization in New England. Founded in 1896 by two women who fought for the protection of birds, Mass Audubon carries on their legacy by focusing on the greatest challenges facing the environment today: the loss of biodiversity, inequitable access to nature, and climate change. With the help of our 160,000 members and supporters, we protect wildlife, conserve and restore resilient land, advocate for impactful environmental policies, offer nationally recognized education programs for adults and children, and provide endless opportunities to experience the outdoors at our wildlife sanctuaries. About This Position

Program Leaders Maybe you've been a teacher. Maybe you're the one that friends and family go to when they have a question about something they've seen on the beach, in the fields, or in a tree! You're comfortable talking with groups and being outside. Nothing is better for you then seeing someone's face light up when they see or learn something for the first time. Lead our summer tidal flats explorations or natural history tours at Long Pasture. Sometimes you'll help at the registration table for walk in programs. Don't worry, we'll train you!
Education Assistant You like working with students. Maybe you have some free time this summer. You want to do more than "go to the beach". Do we have something for you, and you'll still get to go to the beach! You know it's one of the best places, especially at low tide! You'll help out with classroom visits and field trips to the sanctuary. Don't worry, we'll train you!
