WHAT WE NEED
WHO YOU ARE
WHAT YOU'LL DO
| Program Leaders
|| Maybe you've been a teacher. Maybe you're the one that friends and family go to when they have a question about something they've seen on the beach, in the fields, or in a tree! You're comfortable talking with groups and being outside. Nothing is better for you then seeing someone's face light up when they see or learn something for the first time.
|| Lead our summer tidal flats explorations or natural history tours at Long Pasture. Sometimes you'll help at the registration table for walk in programs. Don't worry, we'll train you!
| Education Assistant
|| You like working with students. Maybe you have some free time this summer. You want to do more than "go to the beach". Do we have something for you, and you'll still get to go to the beach! You know it's one of the best places, especially at low tide!
|| You'll help out with classroom visits and field trips to the sanctuary. Don't worry, we'll train you!
All volunteers must pass a background records check ; CORI, SORI and drivers (if driving is required to volunteer).
How to Apply
It's a big help if you could complete the volunteer application. It can be emailed to Kathleen or mailed.
Also, feel free to give Kathleen a call!
