Volunteer will work closely with the Duck Derby Coordinator on organizing/executing tactical details for the APWS biggest annual fundraiser.
Attention-to-detail, good interpersonal/organizational skills and the ability to work with a large team are key. In addition to working with Duck Derby Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to interact with sanctuary staff, interns, AmeriCorps and other sanctuary volunteers, supporters and donors via e-mail, phone and in person. The two weeks before the derby is especially labor-intensive, but hours are flexible. (See www.massaudubon.org/duckderby for derby details.)
