Location: Attleboro, MA
Sanctuary: Oak Knoll

Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and passion for the natural world with others, adults and children alike?  Attleboro Springs Wildlife Sanctuary is a popular unstaffed site that enjoys a regular stream of visitor traffic.  We are looking to build a team of dedicated docents to act as sanctuary stewards, engaging visitors with conversation and artifacts, while recording the number of visitors. Docents would also be walking the trails on a regular basis and helping us keep the parking lot and trails safe.  Orientation and training provided.

Time Commitment/Schedule:  Weekends, Flexible Schedule between 10am – 4pm.

Responsibilities

Have an interest and general knowledge of natural history and/or education.  Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Comments

Volunteers need to pass background records check (CORI and SORI).
