Steam Detectives: Stream Ecology and Geology

During our Stream Detectives field trip, students will discover the mysteries of hydrodynamics, erosion, stream morphology, geology and more! Your class will visit our nature play area to create our very own erosion lab and conduct experiments on stream ecology and geology. Students will create and design their own nature journal before visiting the brook in our wildlife sanctuary to predict how their discoveries will affect the stream in the future! Children will go through the steps of the scientific method and reflect on what they find in their nature journals.
