Description
Look and listen for crepuscular and nocturnal wildlife from the calm waters of a chain of freshwater ponds in Eastham as the sun sets and full moon rises. Previous, recent, paddling experience is required of all participants. All equipment is provided or participants may bring their own kayaks.

Previous (recent) paddling experience and good swimming ability are required. The kayak trip leader reserves the right to deny further participation to paddlers who do not demonstrate adequate paddling ability.
This trip meets and leaves from the landing on Great Pond (directions attached).
Please arrive 10 minutes in advance of the start of the program. Note that the ending time for kayak trips is approximate. We make every effort to finish the trip by the ending time listed but because we are dealing with wind, tide and differing degrees of experience on the part of the participants, there is always the possibility that the trip will run longer than anticipated. For this reason, we suggest that you not count on the trip ending at the time listed and plan accordingly.
Participants may choose among available single kayaks or bring their own kayak. All equipment is provided; all participants must wear life jackets. We recommend that you bring sunscreen, windbreaker, hat, and drinking water. There are no facilities, such as restrooms or water fountains, at the meeting places.
