Community Garden Plots

Description

Looking to start a garden, but need a space to do it?

The Community Garden at Canoe Meadows in Pittsfield has been welcoming organic green thumbs to its 4.5-acre garden for more than 30 years. Several gardeners even describe it as "the most scenic location to plant a garden in Berkshire County."

To better cover the escalating expenses of the garden while remaining affordable, we are moving to a sliding scale fee structurethis year. The fee is $35-50 per 15' x 20’ site. Please choose the price that works for you and pay when you confirm your plots by phone. Mass Audubon membership is still required and new memberships can be purchasedwith garden registration.

Gardens open from May to October.

If financial barriers prevent you from participating, please contact us at [email protected] or call us at 413-637-0320.
