Accessible Birding on Plum Island

Description

Mass Audubon North Shore staff and experienced volunteer birding leaders are offering this accessible birding program at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Newburyport, one of the best birdwatching destinations in the country. PRNWR's ADA accessible Hellcat Boardwalk is a favorite spot for birders during the peak weeks of spring bird migration in mid-May. All levels of birdwatchers are welcome, including beginners, and we’ll have lots of helpful volunteers on hand. Accessible parking spaces will be available for registered participants. Registered participants can bring another adult along to assist. This free program is sponsored by Mass Audubon and Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and is designed to provide access and support to adult birdwatchers of all abilities.
