Knitting Songbirds for Beginners

Description

Bird watching and knitting both take concentration and noticing details. This program with will provide the beginning knitter with the skills to 'wing it' and make three dimensional knit birds. The Bobolink will be our sample bird to learn the skills to make other three-dimensional songbirds. These include color work, short rows for shaping, picot cast on, and finishing.

Instructions

This class is for knitters who know how to cast-on, knit and purl, simple decrease and increase stitches, and are willing to learn new skills. Bring a size 4 knitting needle if you have one. All other materials provided including, yarn, and needle for finishing eyes and feet.
