Ipswich River Homeschool: Chickadees

Description

Chickadees are curious, energetic, and small but brave. In our series for homeschool families with young children, a parent or guardian and their little chickadee will explore together.

This season we will visit the many different ecosystems that make up the sanctuary from field, to wetland, to woodland. In each, we will explore the different plants, animals, and invisible cycles and connections that make each place unique. Highlights include stories, songs, and nature crafts.

April 24: What is an Ecosystem Anyway?

May 1: Life Cycles - Growing Up Wild

May 8: Soil Cycle - Digging in the Dirt

May 15: Splish-Splash! Wetland Water Worlds

May 22: Food Webs - Who Eats Who in the Field?

May 29: Gnome Home Day - Sharing the Ecosystem

Should we need to cancel due to bad weather we will have a make-up class on Wednesday June 5th. Please hold this date as well.
