Description
Take a hike along the trails in search of spring wildflowers. If we are lucky, we might find many different woodland flowers, including trout lily, wood anemone, and lady slipper, that blossom so sweetly and briefly in spring.
Broad Meadow Brook's homeschool programs offer a friendly, cooperative learning environment for school-aged children! Each class will incorporate hiking and outdoor exploration, hands-on games and activities. Each class will promote observation of our local wildlife as an essential skill. At the end of all programs, students will receive follow-up information and activities so the learning can continue at home.
Classes will be held outdoors except for extreme inclement weather. Health forms are required for drop off students. Families are always welcome to remain at the sanctuary.
