Maple sugaring season is in full swing at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. On February 21, David Epstein, a meteorologist for WCVB-TV (Channel 5) in Boston who also has a gardening website of his own, visited the sanctuary to observe our sugaring operation and tape a short video on the sugaring process with Richard Wolniewicz, Ipswich River Property Manager. To view the tape, go to: www.growingwisdom.com.

This is our last weekend of sugaring tours, so don't miss out! View complete information on the tours. The tours run rain or shine.
We have been having a really good sap run this year, and we have lots of syrup available for sale. Syrup can be purchased in the barn this weekend, and we will continue to have syrup for sale in our gift shop after our sugaring season ends, until we run out.
