Directions:
Cross the Sagamore Bridge onto Cape Cod. Take Rt 6 east toward Hyannis. At exit 6, take Rt 132 south to Hyannis and follow signs for the Nantucket boats (Steamship Authority or Hyline).

From the Steamship Authority Wharf on Nantucket: From the parking lot follow Broad Street and turn left onto South Water Street. Continue across Main Street onto Washington Street. Turn right onto Francis Street, left onto Union Street, and then left onto Orange Street. At the rotary, take Milestone Road. After 0.5 miles bear left onto Polpis Road and follow for nearly 6 miles. Less than 1 mile past Sesachacha Pond, look for Barnard Valley Road (dirt road) on the right (opposite Hoicks Hollow Road). The sanctuary is directly off Barnard Valley Road.

From the Straight Wharf on Nantucket: Follow Main Street for 0.25 miles and take a left onto Washington Street. Follow directions above "From the Steamship Authority Wharf."
