Mass Audubon Oriole Project

The Oriole Project is an opportunity for citizen scientists to contribute their observations to an on-going study of Baltimore Orioles in Massachusetts.

At the end of last season we had received reports from citizen scientists like you in more than 85% of the towns in Massachusetts. Thank you!

Here are a few highlights from last year:

  • Orioles reported: 3374
  • Active nests confirmed: 245
  • Participants: 710
  • Towns reporting: 266
