Our 34th Annual Fall Fair Was Great Fun!

Published: September 27, 2012

Fall Fair participants

Our 34th annual Fall Fair was great fun. Once the sun broke through, more than 800 visitors shed their jackets, browsed through the outstanding array of crafters’ goods, and then took advantage of all that was going on. We loved seeing all the young children dancing to the infectious music of Super Cool Beans. Mark and Marcia Wilson’s Eyes on Owls thrilled young and old alike, as it always does.

There’s something fulfilling about greeting old friends and making new ones, inviting guests back to see us soon or to share in a program of interest to them.Mark Wilson of Eyes on Owls

The Fair is more than a money-maker. It’s restorative. It reminds us of what we’re all about: preserving a beautiful slice of Nature for generations to come, while fostering a sense of community and a concern for the environment.

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who helped make this event possible, and in particular to the following sponsors and donors: Paula and Al Jessness, Burnett Construction, Inc., Chris Atkin, Norfolk County Dental, Chickadee Seed & Feed, EQ Northeast, Inc., G. Cronin & Sons Oil, Prudential Page Realty, Norfolk Community Federal Credit Union, The Big Apple, Bimbo Bakeries, Elizabeth’s Bagels, Guido’s Restaurant, Linda’s Variety, Peggy Lawton Kitchens, Roche Brothers, Shaws Franklin, Shaws Mansfield, Stop & Shop Foxboro, Stop & Shop Franklin, Stop & Shop Plainville, Big Y Franklin, and Wrentham Development Center.
