Artist's Bio:
Leslie Evans is an artist and printmaker based in Watertown, Massachusetts. She grew up in Michigan and graduated with a BFA in printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design. In 1980 Leslie established her letterpress studio, Sea Dog Press. The seasonal linoleum cut prints in this exhibit are from a series of four acrostic alphabet books written by Steven Schnur and published by Clarion Books. Leslie also prints and publishes posters, cards, and limited edition prints under the Sea Dog Press imprint.
