Two New Programs with Drumlin Farm & Sudbury Valley Trustees
Published: September 10, 2012
Drumlin Farm has teamed up with Sudbury Valley Trustees to offer two new programs: Natural Wonders and Pumpkin Patch, both of which will be held at Wolbach Farm in Sudbury.
The Natural Wonders program offers children and families an invitation to explore the many changes that take place in the natural world during the fall season. Flora and fauna busily prepare for the winter months during this time, and the outdoors is abundant with interesting and amazing opportunities to learn and have fun! Natural Wonders is a free program and will run Mondays, October 15, 22, 29, and November 5, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Register now!
Celebrate all things Halloween at Pumpkin Patch, featuring music, games, crafts, stories, and more! A Drumlin Farm teacher naturalist will be there to offer a live owl demonstration. The event takes place Saturday, October 27, noon to 4:00 pm. Register now!
Christy Foote-Smith, Sanctuary Director at Drumlin Farm says, "We are so excited to be partnering with SVT to offer programs to families in the Sudbury Valley. The more people we can reach together, the more impact both organizations will have on protecting the nature of Massachusetts." |
