Go Snowshoeing

people snowshoeing

Don’t let a few inches of snow keep you from getting outdoors. There’s no better way to explore the woods in winter than by snowshoe. Just about all of our wildlife sanctuaries* welcome snowshoeing, and a few even offer equipment to rent or borrow. Go it alone or join a guided walk.

Rent or borrow snowshoes at the following locations:

Blue Hills, Milton

Boston Nature Center, Mattapan

Broad Meadow Brook, Worcester

Oak Knoll, Attleboro

Pleasant Valley, Lenox

Wachusett Meadow, Princeton

*Note: Snowshoeing is not available Endicott, Joppa Flats, Nahant Thicket, Sampsons Island, or Sesachacha Heathlands.
