Directions to Cook's Canyon Wildlife Sanctuary

From the Mass Turnpike (Rt I-90): Take exit 22 (formerly exit 8) towards Rt-32 North. Follow Rt-32 North for approximately 26 miles to Barre Center. At the town common, turn left onto South Street. The sanctuary parking lot is 0.3 miles ahead, marked with a Mass Audubon sign on the left.

From Rt-2: Take exit 22 for Gardner/Hubbardston. Follow the rotary around to Rt-68 South (Hubbardston) and follow for 8.9 miles. Take a right onto Rt-62 West (Barre/Athol) and follow for 5.6 miles to Barre Center. Bear left toward the "Stop" sign. Go straight through the "Stop" sign onto South Street. Follow South Street for 0.3 miles from the common, and the sanctuary parking lot is on your left at the Mass Audubon sign.
