Boston Nature Center & Wildlife Sanctuary

Located just outside of downtown Boston on the former grounds of the Boston State Hospital, the Boston Nature Center (BNC) is a community-based urban sanctuary. Trails and boardwalks traverse meadows and wetlands, home to over 150 species of birds, 40 species of butterflies, and more than 350 species of plants. BNC Bird Hop

Support urban environmental education by joining us for a night of beer tasting, live music, bird demonstrations, pub food, and more. This is a 21+ event and valid ID will be required.

As part of TD Tree Days, a cooperative effort to plant new trees in the community, TD Bank employees will be volunteering on October 6 in order to plant 62 trees along BNC’s Snail Trail, in the Boston Food Forest, and at the Mattapan Ecovation Center.
