Hawk Migration at Chickatawbut Hill

Instructor: Norman Smith - Director of Blue Hills Trailside Museum
Audience: Adult
Members: Adult $30.00
Nonmembers: Adult $36.00

Join Trailside Director Norman Smith for a day of hawk watching and banding. Norman will share stories and natural history knowledge accumulated during his 30 years of experience. If the weather conditions are right, you may get to see a hawk or falcon up-close during a banding session. Please bring a lunch and binoculars.

Instructions and Directions: Please meet at Chickatawbut Hill at 10:00 AM. Take I-93 to exit 5B. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Chickatawbut Road. Follow the road for 1/4 mile, then turn right on the access road to the Norman Smith Environmental Education Center. Follow that road to the top of the hill.

Please bring a lunch and binoculars and dress for the weather.
