Apple Honey Harvest

Audience: Family (suitable for children 0 - 7 years)
Members: Adult $11.00, Child $11.00
Nonmembers: Adult $13.00, Child $13.00

Would we have apples or honey without the honeybee? Come and find out as we visit with the bees and taste some delicious honey and apple combinations! We will share apple and bee stories and songs, then round out the afternoon with some apple crafts.

All ages welcome, maximum of three children per adult. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months old and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, but strollers are not appropriate for the terrain we will cover. Please mention these participants when registering. The fee for children between 12 and 17 months of age is half the regular fee; to receive this discount you will need to call 781-259-2206, Monday-Friday. Per person fee applies to each participant, both children and adults.


Things You Should Know:

·Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of the visitors and the animals we care for.

·Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program.

·On the first day of each class, please check in at the Admissions Window (except where noted), to find out where your class will meet.

·Programs include time indoors as well as outdoors; please come dressed comfortably for our outdoor adventures!

·In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated
