About the Prowl
Moose Hill's very popular Halloween Prowl enables your family to enjoy this autumn holiday in a fun, creative, non-scary, safe, and educational manner. Discover the history of Halloween from a Druid and then encounter costumed characters as you are guided along a candle-lit trail. Complete your trail journey at our Wicca fire. After the hour-long guided walk, return to the Nature Center and enjoy a warm drink and two treats. A campfire program will complete the celebration of this Celtic New Year. If you have come in the past, please note that the characters change every year. New this year...after your walk, fill out a Prowl "quiz" and be entered to win a prize.

Wear a Costume
We will have an on-going costume "parade" as participants are checked in. All are encouraged to wear a costume to be part of the fun. Come show off your creative costuming talents! A small prize will be awarded to all who wear a costume.

Cast Your Vote
After the Prowl cast your vote for your favorite Jack O' Lantern from a display of especially carved creations. Call Moose Hill for entry details.

Save a Tree: Paperless Registration
Prowl tours are scheduled every 15 minutes during the advertised time span. Pre-registeration is required for a specific time slot. We will start accepting Halloween Prowl reservations either in person, via the mail, or over the phone on Monday, September 15. These will be processed in the order we receive them. We will e-mail an informational sheet and a confirmation of your Prowl date and time. The day of the event, check in under your registration name. Please use the program registration form in the back of this newsletter when sending in for a reservation, or provide all the necessary information on a separate paper. If you register over the phone, please have your date/time choices decided, credit card information ready, and the exact number of participants determined before you call. There are no refunds or exchanges on Prowl tickets; pre-registration is required. Please note that children ages 3 and younger are free as this program is not geared to their learning level; please do not include them in your count. The program runs rain or shine, so remember to dress for the weather. If you have any questions about this event, call Patti Shaver at 781-784-5691.
