Worm Bin Workshop

Sponsored by Boston Nature Center

Sat, Feb 02, 2013 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Location: Boston Nature Center, Mattapan
Audience: Adult
Members: Adult $5.00
Nonmembers: Adult $7.00

Let's feed those yummy kitchen scraps to some wigglers instead of burying them in a landfill. In this hands-on program you will learn how worm bins work and why they are good for the earth, how to create your own bin, and tips to keep it thriving. We'll browse working worm bins and composters to see if they are a good fit for you. Bring a plastic container and leave with your very own worm bin.

Registration is required.
