Nauset Marsh Discovery Cruise

Cruise through Nauset Marsh on a partially shaded pontoon boat and disembark on the exposed tidal flats to search, with nets and magnifiers, for crabs, sea stars, and other critters. We'll pull up a crab trap and lobster pot and hope to see seals. Of all of our boat trips, this one is the most suitable for preschoolers, as well as older children.
Instructions and Directions: Pre-registration required. Directions will be provided upon registration. Program registrations will not be taken on-site by the program leader. Please arrive and check-in 10 minutes before the start of the program. There are no facilities, such as restrooms or water fountains, on the boat. We recommend that you bring sunscreen, windbreaker, hat, and drinking water. Wear comfortable walking shoes that you won’t mind getting sandy or wet. To protect your feet from sharp shells, we require everyone to keep their shoes on at all times; Tevas, Crocs, and aquasocks are good choices. All children age 12 and under are required to wear life jackets (provided) on the boat to comply with state law.
Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
