Family Ecology Cruise Aboard The Yankee Clipper

Audience: Family (suitable for children ages 5 - 12 yrs)
Fee: Adults $20.00m/ $27.00nm, Children $16.00m/ $19.00nm

Join Teacher-Naturalist Lisa Hutchings and the crew of the Yankee Clipper for an exciting exploration of the lower Merrimack River ecosystem. We'll conduct hands-on science as we collect water samples, live specimens, and plankton. We'll also look for wading birds, seals, and waterfowl on every trip. Your family will have a wonderful time exploring and learning about this vital part of the area's natural history.

The Yankee Clipper is US Coast Guard inspected and licensed and has life jackets and a marine toilet for your convenience. All children must be accompanied by adults.

Instructions and Directions: Meet at the Newburyport boardwalk 15 minutes before departure time. Bring extra clothing, snacks, and a water bottle.
