Are you new to the world of digital photography, or have you had a digital camera for a while and still don't feel you're getting the most from it? If so, join us for this workshop designed to help you understand the features of your digital camera, and learn some techniques that will help you to take better digital photos. We'll discuss topics such as optical and digital zoom, white balance, ISO, and resolution. We'll learn about proper lighting, focus, depth of field, and composition. Then we'll take a look at some software applications that will help you enhance your images and learn how to crop and size them properly to create stunning prints. In the second half of the class, we will head outside to practice what we have learned.
Bob Speare has a deep interest and expertise in photography. He teaches photography classes for Mass Audubon sanctuaries across the state.
