Early-Morning Canoe Paddle
Sponsored by Connecticut River Valley Sanctuaries

Thu, May 14, 2009 7:00 am - 9:00 am

Instructors: Aimee Gelinas - Teacher-Naturalist; Patti Steinman - Education Coordinator, Connecticut River Valley Sanctuaries
Audience: All (suitable for children ages 8 & up)
Fee: Adults $12.00m/ $18.00nm, Children $12.00m/ $18.00nm

Come paddle the Arcadia Marsh on an early summer morning. We'll try to beat the heat and enjoy the sights and sounds that are often not observed later in the day. We'll be looking for birds such as yellow warblers, Baltimore orioles, eastern bluebirds, belted kingfishers, and great blue herons. We will also be keeping an eye on the water in hopes of seeing a beaver, muskrat, or otter. Some canoe experience is required.

Registration is required.

Register by mail: program registration form. (PDF 66K)
Register by phone: with a credit card by calling 413-584-3009.
